It appears a site has finally been selected for Dryden’s new OPP station.
Mayor Anne Krassilowsky has confirmed that a suitable location has been agreed upon by all parties.
The site won’t be confirmed until an environmental assessment and planning approvals are all in place.
The OPP announced in 2009 that the aging Highway 17 Detachment would be replaced.
Officials still hope to have the new building constructed and operational by the end of 2012.
Site Selection Appears to be Finally Complete
