Lack of snow is defiantly not a problem in the Dryden area lately, but its a different story in the Rainy River District.
Farmers there are hoping for more of the white stuff this winter to help their crops.
Gary Sliworksy with the Ministry of Agriculture in Emo says he is starting to grow concerned.
Sliworsky adds the recent warm spell in the Rainy River District did not help with melting snow turning to ice in the fields.
He notes the lack of snow will also not bode well come spring as far as run-off is concerned.
