Environment Canada says 15 to 20 cm of snowfall is expected today and tomorrow and expected to become heavy tonight as a low pressure system approaches.

The snow will continue into Saturday and taper off into flurries tomorrow night.

Environment Canada also says northwesterly winds will be gusting up to 50 km/h and reduce visibility, particularly Saturday afternoon and evening.

Dryden, Ignace and Sioux Lookout still are under a Special Weather Statement.
