A ruling by a NAFTA panel has determined that softwood lumber produced in this province is not subsidized and hundreds of millions of dollars in duties should be returned.

Jamie Lim is president of the Ontario Forest Industries Association and says it doesn’t look like there is any room for the U.S. to appeal the decision.

Lims says the ruling also suggests that lumber from Ontario should be excluded from all future counterveiling duties from the U.S.
