Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association President and Dryden Mayor Anne Krassilowsky is supporting a Provincial move to establish 10-transmission lines in Northern Ontario despite opposition claims that it will drive up industrial hydro rates.
Krassilowsky says this will allow this region to move forward with green energy development and the creation of new jobs.
She hopes a proposed Solar Park for Dryden is part of the recognition, however there are new reports surfacing that the Government may soon ban solar panels in some Ontario farms.
