The Ministry of Natural Resources continues to gain the upper hand on several wildfires in Northwestern Ontario.
There are now 95-active fires, down from 110-fires Tuesday night.
However, officials warn that in excess of 14,000 lightning strikes occurred this week which could lead to new fires.
Staff rotation from other Provinces is also underway.
Additional support from B.C. is expected to arrive today. (Wednesday)
More fire rangers from B.C. are expected Friday while 200-out of province staff will be released by the end of Saturday.
Wednesday was the second day since June 10th that no new fires were reported.
