Dryden Youth Soccer is getting close to its $400,000 fundraising goal to construct a new Multi-Use facility at Rotary Park.
Gary Nickle says they’ve raised over $300,000 so far.
Nickle says the facility is badly needed as right now there’s no coverage or washrooms at the Soccer Complex.
He notes the building will keep people dry and comfortable.
Nickle says they are now working with the architect on plans and hopes to have positive news for the community later this month.
Standard Insurance donated $300 on top of the nearly $1,500 they raised at a charity barbeque Wednesday.
Dryden Rotary has also pledged $100,000 and is expected to make a funding announcement in the coming weeks.
Nickle notes fundraising efforts are on-going.
