Provincial Police remain tight-lipped on a weekend incident in the Wabigoon area.
OPP will only say that they are no longer searching for a suspect in connection with a traffic incident on Highway 17 on Saturday.
Police add there was never a threat to public safety.
Social media has been working overtime with talk of the incident, suggesting a spike belt had to be used and a pursuit then started on foot.
OPP have not confirmed those details, indicating more information will be released Monday.
