Still no taxi hike

It will be at least another week before any increase in taxi fares
kicks in.
Dryden Council will hold a public meeting on the issue next Monday at
7PM just before the regular Council session.
George’s Taxi has asked for permission to raise prices by about 9%
due to the sudden jump in fuel costs over the last few weeks.
Most on Council seem OK with the idea saying if the costs do ever come
down, the matter can be re-visited & fares possibly be reduced.
