Stolen Vehicle Results In Arrest Of Two People In Dryden

Two people face charges after trying to evade Provincial Police in Dryden.

The OPP was contacted by Dryden Police on December 30th to help locate a stolen vehicle.

Officers noticed the vehicle travelling eastbound on Highway 17 and attempted to pull it over.

The driver turned off the TransCanada and continued on the back roads of Melgund Township, until finding a dead end.

Officers were then able to arrest the driver and passenger.

OPP say 44-year-old Robby Noel of Ingersoll and 28-year-old Whitney Roth of Woodstock were taken into custody.

The vehicle was recovered without damage.
