Strike Vote Set

A strike vote has been scheduled for support staff at Ontario’s 24 community colleges, including Confederation College, on July 14th.
Rod Bemister of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union says there have been no serious negotiations since talks began June 7th.
The current three-year contract for the 8,000 college
support staff across the province expires at the end of August.
