Provincial Police have a suspect in custody following an afternoon long search in the Kenora area.
Police began their pursuit around 2:00 and finally tracked him down on Highway 17 just west of Vermilion Bay.
The suspect was arrested near Little Joe Lake around 5:00.
At one point the Trans-Canada Highway was partially closed while officers were looking for the suspect.
No other details have been released, including why officers began their pursuit in the first place.
