A harrowing ordeal for a local motorist Monday morning.
The Dryden Fire water and ice rescue team was dispatched to Government Dock around 8:30.
A vehicle broke through the ice about 100-meters out on the south shore on the Wabigoon Lake ice road.
An SUV was stuck in a large slush area and was towed off within 30-minutes.
No one was injured.
