Some relief for Tbaytel courtesy of the CRTC.
The government regulator has given the regional wireless provider a December extension to set up a new customer billing system.
Tbaytel spokesperson Katie Crowe says the extra time is due to complex computer work that needs to be completed to get the new system up and running.
The changes are part of a requirement that wireless providers in the country make service contracts more understandable for customers.
Crowe says they understand the importance of the enhancements and agree with the changes.
She stresses they follow the wireless code extremely carefully.
