The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is starting to think about new deals for its Elementary and Secondary teachers for the next school year.
Contracts for both run out in August and the Province has given Boards enough money to pass on a minimum 2% increase.
Chief Financial Officer Dean Carrie says that could make for difficult negotiations.
Talks between all sides are expected to begin in the Summer.
