A solid effort for the Kenora ‘AAA’ Thistles on the weekend against the top two teams in the Manitoba Midget Hockey League.
The Thistles took the Eastman Selects to extra time Sunday, but ended up losing 5-4 in overtime.
The Selects haven’t lost in regulation this year.
That followed up on Saturday’s 4-1 loss to the Winnipeg Wild.
The Thistles are two games under .500 with just nine games left in the regular season.
