A tough weekend on the ice for the Kenora ‘AAA’ Thistles at the Showcase Tournament in Portage La Prairie.
The Thistles lost both of their games.
Kenora was bounced by the Parkland Rangers 7-4 Sunday.
Dryden’s Jarod Price had two goals and an assist in the loss, while Graham Oliphant added a goal and an assist.
Hunter Buzzi of Ignace picked up a pair of assists.
The Thistles lost 6-0 to the Winnipeg Wild on Saturday.
Kenora hosts the Southwest Cougars Friday and Saturday.
