Provincial Police are once again warning motorists about the dangers of drinking and driving.
Three people in the Red Lake and Ear Falls area are learning an expensive lesson after being picked up for impaired.
One of the drivers, a 26-year-old B.C. man, tried to avoid a RIDE check, but was still caught.
The arrests were made on Highway 125, Highway 105 as well as Highway 805 in Ear Falls.
Police across the region will be stepping up enforcement as the festive season is just around the corner.
