Thunder Bay City Manager Calls Wait Unacceptable

There has finally been a settlement between Thunder Bay and its firefighters after 7-years of waiting.
The situation was finally resolved after an independent arbitration board handed down a ruling.
The arbitration award grants firefighters annual wage increases for each year they’ve been without a contract.
But it has taken so long that city council gave firefighters interim wage increases in anticipation of the settlement.
