Thunder Bay’s Scharf Into Finals

The Krista Scharf rink of Thunder Bay is one step away from a trip to the Scott Tounrnament of Hearts after a 5-4 win in Fort Frances last night. Scharf finished first in round robin play and won her page playoff game against the McGhee rink of Uxbridge. McGhee will now play the Bodogh
rink from St Catherine’s after she ousted the defending Ontario representative Hanna with a steal of one in the 10th in the 3 vs 4 game. McGhee and Bodough will face off at 1:30 p.m. in the semi final. Scharf will meet the winner at 7:30 p.m. saturday night.
