There will be two kids in the Dryden area going to camp at no cost this year thanks to your support.
This is Tim Hortons Camp Day across Canada, with all proceeds from hot coffee sales supporting youth from low-income families.
Local store franchise owner Aaron Brown says they partner with the Mayor’s Committee for Children and Youth to help make a kids dream a reality.
Brown says the organization does all the right things to get the paperwork processed and get kids off to camp.
The closest camp is in Pinawa, Manitoba, which opened in 2015.
Brown says if you can’t drop by today, there are coin boxes at each store, stressing all donations go to camp initiatives.
