The Sunset Country Travel Association is predicting a spike in visitor numbers across the region this summer.
General Manager Gerry Cariou expects to see a 3-5% increase in anglers and hunters to area camps over last year.
Cariou is crediting the use of digital media campaigns.
Cariou feels the increasing U.S. dollar will see more people enjoy stay-cations throughout the region, however it’s unclear how Canadian traffic will be.
