Treaty 3 Reacts to Throne Speech

No surprises were contained in this week’s Throne Speech, according to
the Grand Chief of Grand Council Treaty #3.
Arnold Garnder says the Minority Government was vigilant in keeping
their campaign promises but he’s worried there were no concessions on the
agreements signed between the previous government and aboriginals.
Gardner says he will work with the Conservatives to improve living
conditions on Northern First Nations and to ensure residential school
survivors are treated fairly.
