Treaty Three Police Stepping Up Drug Enforcement

The Treaty Three Police Service says it’s tackling what it calls a growing concern about substance abuse in local communities.

Over the weekend two residents of the Couchiching First Nation were arrested after a large quantity of marijuana was found in their vehicle.

Police also executed a search warrant on their home as part of their investigation.

A 33-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman have been charged with trafficking and also possession.
