Trees Ontario #1

A Federal Government program wants to plant trees on

abandoned farm land across Northern Ontario.

Tim Gray is a spokesperson for Trees Ontario Foundation,

and says interested land owners must have 5 acres of mostly

bare land.

Gray adds owners have to agree to keep up the land for at

least 15 years, and allow researchers onto their property.

Planting will begin in the spring of 2005.
