Two New COVID Cases In Kenora Area

The Northwestern Health Unit reporting more COVID-19 cases in the Kenora region for the third day in a row.

The health unit is reporting two more positive test results.

Follow up with the persons involved and their contacts has started.

Anyone who is identified as a contact for these cases will be notified directly.

The health unit also says, one previously removed positive case from the Sioux Lookout region has been added back into NWHU’s COVID-19 statistics after further investigation.

It’s recommended that everyone assume COVID-19 is in their community and practise preventive measures like physical distancing, wearing a mask in enclosed public spaces and when physical distancing is a challenge, good hand hygiene, and not touching their face.
