Battling the flu and injury bug, the English River Miners couldn’t compete with Thunder Bay Thursday night.
The Miners were thumped 10-0 by the third place North Stars.
English River had ten affiliated players in the line-up, including starting goalie Cameron Ceci, who faced 63-shots.
The Miners could only muster 11-shots on net.
Thunder Bay moves three points behind the Dryden GM Ice Dogs for second in the SIJHL standings.
English River is locked in fourth place.
