The slate of candidates for the upcoming provincial election is becoming a little more clearer in northwestern Ontario.
Thunder Bay-Atikokan NDP members have selected self-proclaimed “justice warrior” Judith Monteith-Farrell as their candidate.
The worker’s rights advocate says she won’t comment on peoples personalities and who they are and what they have done.
However, Monteith-Farrell says the Liberals have raised hydro rates, sold-off hydro and underfund hospitals.
Monteith-Farrell adds our area won’t benefit from the PC’s populist policies.
She says what we need now is people familiar with our communities, not professional politicians.
