A scary incident over the Easter Long Weekend north of Kenora.
Just before noon on Good Friday, a vehicle was struck by a train while trying to cross the CN tracks on Jones Road.
Fortunately, the 60-year-old driver of the vehicle wasn’t seriously injured.
The incident did close the road for several hours, and the CN main line was also shut down as a result.
The track finally re-opened late Friday.
