An important fundraiser for the Alzheimer Society of Kenora/Rainy River Districts takes place tomorrow in Dryden.
The Walk for Alzheimer’s starts at 9:30am at New Prospect School and everyone is encouraged to attend.
Fundevelopment Program Coordinator Mary Carter says the event is also meant to remember those who have suffered the disease.
Carter says it’s also a chance to raise awareness about some of the signs to watch including memory loss.
Registration is open right up to the start of the fundraiser.
