If you haven’t already received them, War Amps key tags will soon be at your door.
Jamie Lund says when you attach the tag to your keys, it acts as a safeguard if someone manages to find them.
Lund says lost keys can be dropped off at any Canada Post mailbox.
She says each tag comes with a toll-free number that you can call and the keys will be returned at no cost.
It’s a free service but you are encouraged to make a donation to help ensure the long-term stability of the program.
Lund says the initiative was started by those who served in the First and Second War who wanted to continue giving back to Canada.
