The Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse and Addiction is raising alarm bells on potential health risks related to the upcoming legalization of marijuana.
Director of Research and Policy Dr. Amy Porath says contrary to popular belief, cannabis can be addictive, and you should be aware of signs of addiction.
Porath says signs include consuming more than intended, inability to cut down on use, and experiencing withdrawal symptoms like craving, irritability and difficulty sleeping.
She warns that as many as half of those you use pot daily, can become addicted to it.
