The Keewatin Patricia District School Board has formally
welcomed back students from Washagamis Bay First Nation.
The Kenora area band was banned in September from
enrolling students, until their tuition arrears were paid.
Keewatin Public School Principal Heather Much says there
students are comfortably transitioning back to school.

Much and the rest of Keewatin elementary held a small
ceremony recently for all students, including those from
Washagamis Bay first nation.
