It was a slow West Nile Season in Northwestern Ontario.
The Northwestern Health Unit collected several west nile
positive birds and mosquitoes this summer.
Environmental Health Officer Al Mathers notes the virus
isn’t as prevelant in Northwestern Ontario as it is in
Manitoba.
