Some changes may be on the horizon at the Dryden Weyerhaeuser Mill.
Communications Energy and Paperworkers Union Rep John McGuiness says there is plenty of talk about layoffs but notes right now it is speculation.
However, Company Spokesperson Jayne Murray says a manufacturing system project that will start up Monday will result in some job losses to contract workers, however those have been known for some time now.
Murray adds that Weyerhaeuser is currently making modifications to the structure of its staff base at the Dryden Mill, and talks are ongoing with the Union and employees.
