Weyerhaeuser has announced it has completed its takeover of Oregon-based forestry company Willamette Industries.
Weyerhaeuser President and CEO Steven Rogel says the integration of Willamette people, practices and operations wrapped up a few weeks ago.
Despite this move and factors surrounding the Canadian softwood lumber issue, Weyerhaeuser managed to earn 72 million dollars on net sales of just under 5 billion for the second quarter.
