Wiarton Willy Predicts An Early Spring

If you believe in folklore, we should have an early spring in Ontario according to Wiarton Willie.
The groundhog emerged from his den this morning and didn’t see his shadow, meaning we could be in for an early spring.
Last year, the fuzzy forecaster also didn’t see his shadow, but he was dead wrong as we plunged into a polar vortex that dragged winter well into the spring.
