Thunder Bay North Stars forward Bradley Belisle has been named SIJHL Rookie of the Year.
The 17-year-old edged out Dryden’s Troy Williams and Alex Maticic of the English River Miners.
Belisle led all first-year players in offensive production with 23-goals and 24-assists in 56-games.
Belisle has already committed to the Bemidji State University program on a full scholarship.
He becomes the fifth North Stars player to win the award.
Williams still has a chance for some hardware as he’s a finalist in Defenceman of the Year voting.
