Winterfest In Rugby Creek

Rugby Creek is celebrating “Winterfest” on Saturday.
Organizing committee member Patt Watt says the day begins at 8:00 with a pancake breakfast.
There will be curling to follow at 1:00.
Watt says in the evening there will be a supper and live musical entertainment.
Other events happening in the day include sleigh rides, kids river games and a snowmobile poker derby.
The event is being held at the Eton Rugby Hall, 7.5-kilometers north on Highway 605 and at the bridge on Haukness Road.
