The Ministry of Natural Resources is making it mandatory
for hunters to report wolves and coyotes they kill.
Yolanta Kowalski is with the MNR and says the new
regulations won’t afect trappers or people shooting
wildlife to protect their property.

Starting this September anyone who wishes to kill a wolf
or coyote will have to buy a special seal, and a small game
licence.
There will also be a closed season on wolf in Northern
and Central Ontario from April 1st till September 14th.
