Premier Kathleen Wynne is on her way to India later this week.
She heads a delegation of about 65 business and education leaders on Wednesday.
Wynne says the visit will be an opportunity for them to promote the province’s expertise, forge new partnerships, and create a strong foothold in what’s considered an important market for Ontario.
She adds it’s the province’s people-to-people connections that allow them to have an existing strong relationship with India.
