Fort Frances and Thunder Bay will soon house two new
Youth Detention Centres.
The Fort Frances facility is dedicated to aboriginal
youth and will have 12 beds.
Thunder Bay Superior North MPP Michael Gravelle says
they hope to have the facilities open by April 2009.

Kenora was one of the communities that was hoping to
host the new facility.
Thunder Bay, Fort Frances and Ottawa will share 28
million dollars in project funding.
