The search is on for a new Executive Director for the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association.
NOMA President Wendy Landry has accepted the resignation of Kristen Oliver, who will leave November 6, having chosen the position of Municipal Affairs and Stakeholder Relations with Enbridge.
“Sad day. It will be a huge loss for NOMA, but we are congratulating Kristen on her new journey and her new position.”
Landry says they will be looking for a replacement fairly soon.
“Will be someone to look after the administrative services of the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association. Relationships with government as well as relationships with each of the municipalities that are within our NOMA district.”
Oliver says this is a bittersweet moment, leaving some amazing people across the region, but adds there is comfort in knowing she will continue to work with NOMA communities, in a different capacity.
